i thought i would share with you one of our new favorite go-to snacks. they are protein energy bites. i found a few different recipes on pinterest and combined ingredients from different ones to make my own. my husband loves them! they satisfy your sweet tooth, while still staying healthy. they are a great snack to grab for breakfast, or before or after a workout. i hope you enjoy!
2 cups oats
3 Tbs ground flaxseed
2 scoops chocolate whey protein powder
1 cup natural peanut butter (i use adams)
1/2 cup honey
3 Tbs dark chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
mix all together and take a cookie scoop or roll into balls and keep in air tight container in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
trust me though, they won't last two weeks! they are too good! you can change up the recipe however you want. different kinds of chocolate chips, add nuts, or dried berries, etc.
